FRUGAL TIPS
I have always been a "penny pincher," but once I became a stay-at-home wife and mother, the quest for stretching dollars became an even greater task. Living on one income with a growing family isn't easy, but it is doable if you plan before hand and you and your spouse agree on what really is priority. Here are a few ideas that I put together:

Leisure:
- .Remember that a vacation is a luxury.
- Take advantage of local freebies: (Community sponsored events, local library, parks, etc.)
- Have a picnic, hike, go to a park, etc.
- Learn the word "NO!" (we do not have to be involved in everything for crying out loud; our kids will not be socially deprived for lack of involvement; and our family might just enjoy each other's company)
- Install a digital antenna for TV viewing or subscribe to something like Netflix.
