I've added more recipes to the site. You'll find several desserts, a cheese sauce, and a dip recipe. The dip recipe was created by my aunt. I've not had a chance to make it myself, but it was so yummy that I asked her if I could include it here. Enjoy!
When God told Solomon, "Ask what I shall give you," 2 Chronicles 1:10 says he asked for wisdom and knowledge in order that he may rule the people of God well.
He realized he was in the midst of God's will and was the instrument of fulfilling God's promise to David. Solomon was not selfish but asked for qualities that would help him do God's will. The new testament tells us to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and everything else will be added to us (see Matthew 6:23). This is what Solomon portrayed. Help me, Lord, to have the heart that Solomon did in his request. Let me not be selfish but only concerned with Your will - Your kingdom and Your righteousness. Before I started this website, I use to blog over at blogspot. I was recently reading some older posts there and thought I would re-post them here. Lately, I've known some people and heard of others who have miscarried and my heart goes out to them. I understand some of the grief that they are going through, and the only consolation and advice I can give them is to trust God. God is the one who is in control of life, and He knows best even when we don't understand why things happen. Monday, October 15, 2012 Saturday, October 27, 2012 |
